The Therapeutic Recreation Department at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital hosted a wheelchair tennis clinic on Friday, September 18 from 10AM-12Noon at Central Park in Schenectady.
At the initiative of Dr. Raghavan’s friend, Philip Yourno, a fundraiser tournament was held at Sportime of Schenectady on August 22 to raise money for the American Association for the Social Advancement of India.
USTA Eastern’s 11th Annual Camp A.C.E. (Achieving through Coaching and Education) took place at the University at Albany from July 19-25. Thirty-eight students between the ages of 14-18 from around the Eastern Section took part in the week-long program that combined tennis instruction with classroom courses aimed to help develop life skills.
